ABSTRACT

Following study apply one’s mind to role of state in 20th century. In context of European integration process and globalization researches both changes in governance and changing state form. On theoretical base comes out of contemplation of power as a basic political category and also of selected theories of modern state. The study explains topicality of concept multilevel governance and minutely analyses its particular characteristic. In the end, the theses about weakening position of state is confronted with arguments for conservation privileged state form as a actor in public policy.
